Join us in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas, just 90 minutes from Fort Worth. You'll get to know other LGBTQ folks who love Jesus and long for spaces like this where you are fully accepted. During the retreat, we'll enjoy community, fun, prayerful reflection, and exploring together what it means to have a relationship with God.
Special Guest Speaker
Justin Lee
Justin is a nonprofit executive and author who uses nuance and empathy as tools for global change. He first gained an international following for his work as a Christian ministry leader helping heal church and family divisions on LGBTQ issues. Today, Justin teaches audiences to apply the same powerful bridge-building techniques to all sorts of difficult issues, from political polarization to family disputes.
What to Expect
Tapestry retreats are transformative for many attendees. As one participant said, Tapestry was "probably the most encouraging and impactful weekend I’ve had in years." These retreats center our need for connection and community. It's a place to make friends, as well as to renew—or discover—a deeper connection with God. We will share our stories, sing together, hear encouraging speakers, play, chat over meals, and enjoy beautiful surroundings. A brief schedule and additional details are below.
All meals and lodging are covered in the price of the retreat. The retreat site is about 90 minutes from Fort Worth and roughly two hours from DFW airport. Often, registrants will choose to carpool from the airport. Registrants will be connected with each other ahead of time for those who want to coordinate rides (CenterPeace cannot arrange transportation to and from the airport for registrants).
