In 2018 CenterPeace launched a campaign to begin sharing our stories through video documentaries. Seeing the lives of real people—people just like us—unfold before our eyes is transformative in building empathy and compassion for one another. Video is one of the most powerful mediums we have to inform and educate. With the ease and accessibility of the Internet, more people than ever have access to these stories, providing information that is critical to understanding the lives of LGBTQ+ people.
What if we could produce hundreds of these videos, to share different stories from all around the world? To help others understand the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and most importantly, the faith of LGBTQ+ Christians and the families in which we grew up. That’s what we’re hoping to do with this project. If you’d like to help, check out our GoFundMe.
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
1 Corinthians 13:13
