Tapestry Retreat

Just for young adults

Community can be hard to find for LGBTQ+ Christians. If you are college-age and looking for friends to walk alongside you as you navigate faith and sexuality, this retreat is for you!

How do you have a retreat online?

Using Zoom, we will host one session Friday evening and several sessions on Saturday with breaks in between. We'll have time for community, prayer and reflection, and exploring together what it means to have a relationship with God. Depending on the number of participants, we'll have small group discussions so folks can get to know each other better.

Who will be there?

Other LGBTQ+ college students who are trying (and sometimes failing!) to live out what it means to be a faithful disciple of Jesus. We'll also have older folks who are pastors, parents, and spiritual directors who are there to help share wisdom and guidance.

"I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else."
