Welcome!

A place to belong. Isn't that what we all want, really? Somewhere we feel loved and wanted. A place where we can be real. A place where we can say what's really going on inside and not be turned away or ostracized simply by others' silence. A place where we're greeted with smiles and warm embraces. A place where we're included and accepted, no matter what.

That's what Jesus did for people while he was here on this earth. And he's still doing it today through communities of faith that believe in being safe places. CenterPeace is built on the concept of table fellowship, on the truth that Jesus invites each of us, no matter where we are in our thinking, to dine with him. For it's there at that table that we come to know Christ and experience his enormous love for us. As his compassion for me draws me closer to him, I find myself wanting what he wants for my life more than what I want. It's through that relationship with Jesus that I can then give up every area of my life to him - my pride, my greed, my selfishness, my sexuality. But if I have no place to belong - if I'm not welcome at Christ's table - I have no power nor motivation to do that.

If you're looking for a place to belong - a safe place where the love of Jesus will consume you and empower you to live the life of holiness he calls us to - welcome. We've saved a seat just for you.

No Condemnation

Like Jesus, CenterPeace invites all men and women who experience same-sex attraction to the table, wherever we may be in our thinking on this issue.

We welcome grace-filled dialogue and respectful disagreement with all who come to the table, acknowledging Jesus as the CenterPeace of our existence.

We neither promote nor condone even the most well-intentioned condemnation of God's children who experience same-sex attraction, nor will we allow political causes to distract us from extending the Lord's invitation to His banquet table.

Instead, we present Jesus and His power to set captives free. Without Him at the center of our lives, there is no peace.
